NORFOLK - Thomas Joseph Mclnnerney, 75, of 316 W. 37th St., died Sunday in his 
home.
A native of Wilmington, N.C., he was the husband of Nelle Mclnnerney. He retired 
from Home Beneficial Life Insurance Co. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament 
Catholic Church.
Besides his widow, survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Nancy M. Gonnella and 
Mrs. Ann M. Vezzi, both of Norfolk; two sons, Charles W. Phillips of Rico 
Rivera, Calif., and William N. Phillips of Memphis, Tenn.; two sisters, Mrs. A. 
J. Nolin of Norfolk and Mrs. Albert Todd of Wilmington, N.C.; a brother, James 
R. Mclnnerney of Miami; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Chapel, 
37th and Colley Ave. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. H. D. Oliver Funeral 
Apts., Norfolk, has charge.
