Virginian-Pilot February 7, 1943
Daniel Francis McIntyre, aged 58, husband of Mrs. Theresa Pitts McIntyre, died at 
the residence, 2407 Hammet avenue, yesterday afternoon at 6:10 o’clock, after a 
long illness. Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Arthur Francis McIntyre, 
of Norfolk, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Bowles and Mrs. Mary Mulligan, both of 
Chelsea, Mass. Mr. McIntyre was a native of Sydney, N.S., and had been a resident 
of Norfolk 25 years. He was a member of Carpenters Union 331.	
The body will be taken from the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home to Holy Trinity 
Catholic Church for funeral services tomorrow morning at 10 o’clock. Burial will 
be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
