Virginian-Pilot  December 13, 1947
George H. McIntyre, 37, of 1224 Center Avenue, Broad Creek Village, died yesterday 
at 1:15 a.m. in a local hospital after an illness of four months.
He was the son of Mrs. Josephine Whittercon McIntyre and the late Adam R. 
McIntyre, and the husband of Estellar Junewicz McIntyre.
He is survived by a daughter, Olivia S. McIntyre.
The body was taken to the Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk. Services 
will be held at the Saint Mary’s Catholic Church Monday at 10 a.m. Burial will be 
in Saint Mary’s Cemetery.
