Mrs. Ella R. McKenna, aged 70, widow of William McKenna, died yesterday morning at 
10:52 o’clock at a local hospital. She was a native of Portsmouth, and had been a 
resident of Norfolk for the past 60 years, residing at 1129 Mariner street.
She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Fred Oberg, of Norfolk; one brother, James R. 
Guy, of Washington, and a number of nieces and nephews. Remains will be taken from 
H. D. Oliver’s funeral apartments, 610-12 East Freemason street, to St. Mary’s 
Catholic Church, for services Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock. Burial will be in 
St. Mary’s Cemetery.
