NORFOLK – Mrs. Nancy Sawyer McKevitt, of 1004 Harrington Ave., died Friday in a 
local hospital. She was the wife of Michael J. McKevitt and was a native of 
Chesapeake.
She was retired as a registered nurse, working at several local hospitals. She was 
a Roman Catholic.
Other survivors include a brother, David E. Sawyer, of Chesapeake.
A funeral will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in St. Mary’s Cemetery at graveside by 
the Rev. Phillip F. Farrell. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, is in 
charge. The family will be at 1728 E. Ocean View Ave., Norfolk.
