A native of Norfolk, he was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was in a POW camp in Germany 30 months. He was a son of James S. and Mrs. Anne Magee McKevitt. He is survived by three sisters, Miss Ellen B. McKevitt, Miss Catherine E. McKevitt, and Mrs. Margaret Pressler, and a brother, Michael J. McKevitt, all of Norfolk, a niece, and a nephew. The body will be taken from H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to St. Pius X Catholic Church for a Requiem Mass Wednesday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
