NORFOLK - Mrs. Blanche Agnes McKiernan, of 3225 Argonne Ave., wife of Thomas F. 
McKiernan, died Tuesday at 1:50 a.m. in a hospital.
Mrs. McKiernan, a graduate of St. Vincent's Hospital School of Nursing, was a 
native of Lumberton, N.C. She lived in Norfolk 48 years. Her parents were John 
and Mrs. Sally King Redmond.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two brothers, Joseph Redmond of 
Columbia, S.C., and Phillip Redmond of St. Augustine, Fla., and a sister, Mrs. 
T. E. Bessellieu of Lumberton.
The Rosary will be recited in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tonight at 7:30.
A funeral service will be held in Christ the King Catholic Church Thursday at 10 
a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
