Virginian-Pilot  March 22, 1921
Daniel B. McKinley, a native of Scotland and, for many years, a well-known citizen 
of Norfolk, died Monday at 10:15 o’clock a.m. He was 49 years old. He is survived 
by his wife, Mrs. Delia McKinley, and one son, Howard D. McKinley, of Norfolk, 
three brothers and two sisters of Ireland. Funeral services at St. Mary’s Catholic 
Church Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock. Mr. McKinley was a member of the Owls and 
resided at 931 East Main street.
