Virginian-Pilot  November 30, 1940
Mrs. Delia Theresa McKinley, aged 62, widow of Daniel B. McKinley and daughter 
of the late Michael and Mrs. Mary Creamer, died yesterday morning at 4:45 
o’clock at a local hospital. Mrs. McKinley was a native of Worcester, Mass., and 
had been a resident of Norfolk 31 years, residing at 709 Boissevain avenue at 
the time of her death. She is survived by a son, Howard D. McKinley, and a 
grandson, Howard D. McKinley, Jr., of Norfolk.
The body will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial 
avenue, to St. Mary’s Catholic Church for services Monday morning at 10 o’clock. 
Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Rosary services will be held at the H. 
D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Sunday night at 8 o’clock. Mrs. McKinley was a 
member of the Sodality of the Blessed Virgin of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
