He was a pipefitter at Norfolk Naval Shipyard and a member of ST. Matthew’s Catholic Church. Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Patricia Hubbard and Miss Kathy McKown of Norfolk and Terrance G. McKown of Virginia Beach; 14 grandchildren and a great grandchild. A Christian wake service will be held tonight at 7:30 in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, where the family will be tonight from 7:30-9. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Matthew’s Catholic Church by the Rev. James Guttendorf. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk.
