Thomas McKown (McCowan) died at 7:45 yesterday morning at the residence, 206 E 2
25th Street. He was a native of Northampton County, but has been a resident of N
Norfolk for 55 years,
He was a member of Charity Lodge No. 10, Knights of Pythias, and Washington 
Lodge, I. O. O. F. He is survived by one brother, Samuel McKown, of Norfolk.
Services will be held at H. D. Oliver's Funeral Apartments, 610-12 E Freemason 
Street, tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. D. W. Howard, D. D., rector 
of St. Luke's Church, officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
