A funeral service for Mrs. Helen H. McLaughlin, 38, of 879 Memphis street, will 
be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday March 18 at Norfolk Methodist Church, Bowdens 
Ferry road and  at 35th street.

Mrs. McLaughlin died Monday.  She was a Norfolk native and was president of the 
Perdico Social and Savings Club.

The Rev. Godfrey Tate, pastor of Norfolk Methodist, will deliver the eulogy.  
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery under direction of Hale Funeral Home.

Members of Mrs. McLaughlin’s family and her friends will gather at 726 Fremont 
street prior to the funeral.

Mrs. McLaughlin’s survivors include her husband, Edward L. McLaughlin;  her 
mother, Mrs. Vivian Wilson;  two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Payne and Miss Dorothy 
Harper;  and a brother, John Harper.
