She was a native of Edenton, N.C., a daughter of the late Irelus and Mrs. Lillie Bowe Johnson. She lived in Norfolk 20 years. Surviving are her widower, James H. McLaurin; two daughters, Miss Mazie Elizabeth McLaurin and Miss Celestine McLaurin and a sister, Mrs. Della M. Redman, all of Norfolk; and three brothers. Irelus Johnson, Jr., Fragell Johnson and Lynn Johnson of Elizabeth City, N.C. A funeral service will be held in St. Mary's Catholic Church, of which she was a member, Saturday at 11 a.m., with burial in Calvary cemetery.
