McLynn, wife of Mr. James T. McLynn, was held from St. Mary’s Catholic church at 10 o’clock a.m. yesterday in the presence of a large concourse of the friends of the deceased. Requiem mass was said with Father John Doherty as the celebrant. During the service, Mrs. James Hughes sang as a solo “0 Salutaris.” While the remains were being brought from the church, Mrs. Mary Smith rendered “Lead Kindly Light.” There was a profusion of lovely floral tributes, among which was a handsome design sent by City Sergeant John F. Lawler and his deputies, and one also by the present jury of the corporation court, in which Mr. McLynn, husband of the deceased, is court officer. The remains were laid to rest in St. Mary’s cemetery. Following were the pallbearers: Stephen Hogan, John F. Lawler, Charles Quinn, Thomas Hogan, M. J. Lyons, Joseph J. Hennelly, Thomas Fitzgibbon, Patrick Tynan and M. T. Friary.
