Virginian-Pilot  November 8, 1969
NORFOLK - Thomas Patrick McManus, 98, of 3429 Bonner Drive, died in a hospital 
Friday.
He was the husband of the late Mrs. Margaret Kelly McManus, and a son of Thomas 
P. and Mrs. Anne Griffin McManus.
A native of New York, he lived here most of his life and was a member of Christ 
the King Catholic Church. He was a member of Knights of Columbus. He retired 
from the Norfo1k Naval Shipyard in 1933.
Surviving are two sons, John K. McManus of Norfolk and Thomas G. McManus of 
Sumerall, Miss., and a daughter, Miss Anne C. McManus of Norfolk.
The Rosary will be said in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Sunday at 8 p.m. A 
Requiem Mass will be celebrated Monday in Christ the King Catholic Church at 10 
a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
