Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, November 26, 1992 
Mary D. McNair, 43, of the 7000 block of Sewells Point Road, a homemaker, died
Nov. 21, 1992, in DePaul Medical Center.

Mrs. McNair was born in Norfolk and was a Jehovah's Witness. She was the widow
of Archie Oliver McNair.

Survivors include her mother, Flossie Manning Horne of Norfolk; two sisters,
Darnell H. Smith of Norfolk and Odessa Knight of Florida; two brothers, Aaron
Horne and Frank Horne, both of Norfolk; two nieces, Annette S. Christopher of
Norfolk and Cynthia S. Fentress of Georgia; two nephews, Sonny S. Smith Jr. and
Lamont L. Smith of Norfolk; two brothers-in-law, Sonny Smith of Norfolk and
William Knight of Florida; three great-nieces; one great-nephew; and two
nephews-in-law, Sylvan C. Christopher of Norfolk and William T. Fentress of
Georgia.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in E.A. Hughes Funeral Chapel by
Lawrence Knight. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The family will receive
friends at the residence and will assemble there for the procession at 12:30 p.m.
