McNally died last night at 7:45 at his residence, 237 Chapel street, after an illness which had confined him to his home for two months. Mr. McNally had been in poor health for a year. He was a native of Norfolk and for over 30 years had been connected with Peter Smith & Co. He was a popular member of the Norfolk Lodge of Elks, and of the Red Men, and, in the city where he spent his entire life, he had many friends who will regret his passing. Mr. McNally is survived by three sisters, Misses Mary, Kate and Josephine McNally, all of Norfolk. The funeral will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic church Thursday morning at 10 o’clock. The service will be conducted by Rev. John Doherty.
