McNally, who made his home here with T. H. Synon, 535 Warren Crescent, died yesterday in St. Agnes’ hospital, Baltimore, following an operation performed there a few days ago. He was the eldest son of Mrs. Martha McNally and a brother of the late Mrs. T. H. Synon. He is survived by his mother, one brother, E. P. McNally, of Miami, Fla., and one sister, Mrs. Sara Fiddywent, of Baltimore. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. The funeral of John J. McNally was held yesterday morning at 10 o’clock at the Sacred Heart Catholic church. The funeral was largely attended and there were many floral offerings. During the ceremony, Mrs. S. A. Sutton sang “One Sweetly Solemn Thought.” The services were conducted by Rev. T. E. Waters and Rev. Leo J. Ryan. Burial was in St. Mary’s cemetery, the pallbearers being A. S. J. Gammon, M. T. Friary, J. W. Jenkins, J. F. Lawler, J. E. Burke, W. T. Higgins, J. J. Scullion, E. T. Lawler. Mr. McNally died in Baltimore.
