Virginian-Pilot  December 30, 1923
Mrs. Martha Denver McNally, aged 84 years, widow of Edward McNally, died at noon 
yesterday. She was a native of Ireland and had been a resident of Norfolk for 25 
years. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Sara Fiddyment, of Norfolk; one son, 
Edward McNally, of New York; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild and a son-in-
law, T. H. Synon, of Norfolk. The body will be taken from the residence of her 
son-in-law at 536 Warren Crescent to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for funeral 
services tomorrow morning at 10 o’clock. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
