Virginian-Pilot  March 13, 1938
Robert Vincent McNamara, son of William I. and Mrs. Virginia Tingle McNamara, of 
1600 Holland avenue, Winona, died at 4:45 o’clock yesterday morning at a local 
hospital, in the 15th year of his age. He was a member of the Junior Holy Name 
Society of St. Mary’s Parish, a freshman of Holy Trinity High School, and a 
carrier boy for the Virginian-Pilot. Besides his parents, he is survived by one 
brother, William J. McNamara, of Norfolk, and one sister, Miss Ann E. McNamara, of 
New York City. Funeral services will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 
tomorrow morning at 11 o’clock. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Rosary 
services will be held at the residence, by the 1937 graduating class of Sacred 
Heart Catholic School, this afternoon at 3 o’clock, and by the Freshman class of 
Holy Trinity High School, this afternoon at 4 o’clock.
