Patrick H. McNamara, aged 80, died yesterday afternoon at 6:30 o’clock at the 
residence, 1400 Holland avenue, Winona. Mr. McNamara was a native of Ireland and 
had been a resident of Norfolk 11 years. Before coming to Norfolk, he had lived 63 
years in Lexington, Ky. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Carroll Emley, and a 
son, W. I. McNamara, both of Norfolk; also by seven grandchildren. He was a member 
of Norfolk Council No. 367, Knights of Columbus, and held membership in St. Mary’s 
Catholic Church. Funeral services will be conducted at St. Mary’s Church tomorrow 
morning at 10 o’clock and burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
