NORFOLK - Mrs. Virginia Tingle McNamara, 78, of 1732 Ashland Ave., died Friday 
in a hospital.
She was the widow of William Ignatius McNamara and a daughter of William and 
Mrs. Anna Hennessey Tingle. A native of Lexington, Ky., she lived here 51 years 
and was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Anne Wilbon of Norfolk; a son, William J. 
McNamara of Norfolk; 12 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
The Office of the Dead will be recited in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Sunday 
at 7:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held in Christ the King Catholic Church 
Monday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
