VIRGINIA BEACH - Thomas Francis McPartland Jr., 56, of 417 Kellam Road, husband 
of Mrs. Louella Dopp McPartland, died Friday in a hospital.
A native of New York, he had lived here since 1950.
He was a checker for International Longshoremen’s Association, a veteran of 
World War II, and a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church and Knights 
of Columbus.
Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Leigh Bodner and Miss Monica 
McPartland, and two sons, Thomas F. Mc¬Partland III and Christopher John 
McPartland, all of Virginia Beach.
The Office of the Dead will be recited Sunday at 7:15 p.m. in H. D. Oliver 
Funeral Apartments, Laskin Road. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated Monday at 10 
a.m. in St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Mary’s 
Cemetery.
