Virginian Pilot June 5, 1909

Mrs. Laura V. McPherson, a well known lady, wife of Charles McPherson, died 
yesterday afternoon at the family residence, Liberty street and Hawthorne avenue, 
South Norfolk, after a brief illness.
She was 32 years old and is survived by her husband, five small children and her 
mother, Mrs. Lizzie Morgan.  She was a native of Norfolk county.
The funeral will be conducted from the family residence this afternoon at 3 
o'clock.  Rev. W.A. Smith, pastor of Berkley Avenue Baptist Church, will 
officiate.  Interment will be in Magnolia cemetery.
