PHILADELPHIA - Joseph E. McPherson, 68, died Monday in a fire at the YMCA, where 
he lived.

A native of Norfolk, he was a son of John Andrew and Mrs. Mary E. McPherson.

Surviving is a brother, William T. McPherson of Norfolk.

The body was sent to Moseley Funeral Home, Norfolk.

A private funeral service will be held today at noon in Calvary Cemetery, 
Norfolk.
