Final rites were conducted June 17 at 2:30 p.m. for Ginnis McQueen, age 76, who
died June 13. The Rev. R. A. Council conducted the services in the Riddick
Funeral Chapel.

A native of Johnson City, TN, he lived in Norfolk a number of years. He was a
member of the Norfolk Social and Beneficial Association and the Elks. Survivors
are two daughters, Mesdames Thelma Pickering and Vessie Teague; two sons, Lee
McQueen, of New York and John McQueen, of Norfolk; 10 grandchildren and nine
great grandchildren.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Riddick Funeral Service in charge.
