Virginian-Pilot, September 12, 1893
DIED-At Virginia Beach, Sunday morning, September 10th, at 2:45
o'clock, Valeria Eveline Henrietta, infant daughter of Charles
L. and Valeria C. Meade, aged 10 months and 11 days.
[Also] Valeria E., infant daughter of Charles. & Valeria Meade,
died at Virginia Beach Sunday afternoon from the result of a 
fall which occurred a few days ago. The funeral took place 
yesterday evening at 3 o'clock and the interment was in Elmwood 
Cemetery and was conducted by the Rev. O. S. Barton.

To us who bear this child today
No pang to us is given,
The door was shut upon its tomb,
Enclosing it in heaven.
