Mr. Harry Mears, formerly of Norfolk, died in New York City, Saturday, August 8th. 

Funeral services were held in New York and the remains were brought to Norfolk 
accompanied by relatives and interred in the family cemetery, in Berkley Ward.  
Mr. Mears is survived by his mother and four sisters, among them is Mrs. Lucy 
Burnham. Rev. B. W. Harris, the rector of Grace P. E. Church and Rev. Clarke of 
Monumental A. M. E. Church, officiated at the grave.
