NORFOLK - Russell Medley, 67, of 724 Carolina Ave., a native of Danville and the 
husband of the late Mrs. Geneva M. Medley, died Friday in his home.

He was a retired, 29-year employe of Sheller-Globe Corp. He was a Baptist.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Grace O. Lewis, Mrs. Carolyn B. Gardner, 
Miss Dorothy Medley, and Miss Alease Medley; three sons, Harold L. Medley, 
Curtis M. Medley, and Bobby Medley; and a stepson, Leon C. Medley, all of 
Norfolk; three sisters, Mrs. Lina Webster of Danville, Mrs. Lottie Craddock of 
Philadelphia, and Mrs. Melissa Hill of Troy, N.C.; two brothers, William Medley 
of Detroit and Calvin Medley Jr. of Norfolk; and seven grandchildren.

A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in Twilight Funeral Home, Norfolk 
Chapel, by the Rev. Dwight Steele. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. 
Visitation at the funeral home will be form 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. The family 
will assemble at his home for the procession to the funeral home.
