Virginian-Pilot  August 31, 1897
The funeral of Miss Katie Helen Mee, daughter of the late James Mee, who died 
Saturday night at 12 o’clock at the home of her mother, Mrs. Ellen Mee, No. 72 
Bermuda street, aged 16 years, took place yesterday morning at 9 o’clock from the 
St. Mary’s Catholic Church and was largely attended, the services being conducted 
by Rev. Father Frioli. The interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, the following 
young gentlemen acting as pallbearers: Benjamin Hatton, Joseph C. Carroll, Jr., 
Joseph Donovan, Michael Kelly, Frank McKenna and Willie Connelly.
