Virginian-Pilot  April 22, 1968
NORFOLK — Edward Andrew Meeghan, 6, of 3809 Granby St., retired pressman of The 
Virginian-Pilot and Ledger-Star, died Sunday in a hospital.
A native of New York, he was the husband of Mrs. Loretta Meeghan and a son of 
Edward and Mrs. Annie Raehgen Meeghan.
He lived here seven years. He was a former press superintendent of the New York 
Post and a member of Norfolk Local 54 of the Pressmen’s Union.
Besides his widow, surviving is a brother, Patrick O. Meeghan of North Bergen, 
N.J.
The body will be taken from H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church for a funeral service Tuesday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. 
Mary’s Cemetery.
The Office of the Dead will be recited tonight at 8 in the funeral apartments.
