Meginley, 72, died Saturday at her home, 1418 Roger Street, South Norfolk, after an illness of four years. She was a native of Olean, N.Y., and had lived in South Norfolk for 52 years. She was the daughter of Rubin and Jane Clark Maisey, and the husband (sic) of James E. Meginley. She was a member of St. Brides Episcopal Church, Berkley, the woman's auxiliary of the church, and the Willow Grover Circle of the Woodmen, South Norfolk. Besides her husband, survivors are two sons, Charles Edward Meginley, of Jacksonville, Fla., and Raymond "Mike" Meginly, of Acredale, Princess Anne County; one brother, Charles Maisey, Houston, Tex., and five grandchildren. The body was removed to the Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the St. Brides Episcopal Church, Berkley. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery, Berkley.
