Mehegan, Sr., died yesterday afternoon at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. W. J. Young, No. 508 Reeves avenue, Brambleton, in the 65th year of his age. He was formerly a tobacconist in this city, but had been out of business for some years, and had been in feeble health. He leaves several children – Mrs. Young, Mr. William A. Mehegan, Jr., and the Misses Mehegan. The obsequies of Mr. William A. Mehegan, whose death has been noted in these columns, were held from St. Mary’s Catholic church Sunday morning at 9:30 o’clock. Requiem mass was said by Rev. John J. Doherty, pastor of the church. Appropriate solos were rendered by Mr. Vincent Smith and Mrs. James Hughes. The floral tributes were numerous and beautiful. The interment was in Elmwood cemetery. Following were the pallbearers: Messrs. W. A. Graves, J. Leighton Roush, Alex M. Higgins, Mills Willis, John P. Kevitt, Thomas Ferguson, R. B. Allen and A. M.
