NORFOLK - Henry W. Meiners, 89, of 1510 Chela Ave., a native of Long Island, 
N.Y., died Monday in a hospital.
Mr. Meiners had retired from the Navy as a chief warrant officer. He was a 
veteran of the Mexican revolution and both world wars. He was a member of the 
Retired Officers Association.
Survivors include his wife, Sara Hill Meiners; and a sister, Mrs. W.H. Kuhn of 
Port Jefferson, N.Y.
The graveside service will be conducted at noon Wednesday in St. Mary’s Cemetery 
by the Revs. Marshall F. Mauney and Richard Bagnall. H.D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments, Norfolk, is in charge.
