NORFOLK - Mrs. Annie Mae Parr Meixel, 55, daughter of the late James E. and Mrs. 
Virginia Simpson Parr, a lifelong resident of Norfolk, died Monday at 10:35 
p.m., in a local hospital.
She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Margaret W. Weaver of Beaufort, S.C.; three 
sisters, Mrs. Rudolph Bartol, Mrs. E. F. Seltzer and Mrs. Loretta Smith, all of 
Norfolk; two brothers, G. W. Parr and L. F. Parr, also of Norfolk, five 
grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
The body will be taken from H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Christ the King 
Catholic Church for services Friday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s 
Cemetery. Rosary services are scheduled at the funeral apartments today at 7:30 
p.m. The family will assemble at the residence of Mrs. Charles A. Rice, 1249 
Sedgefield Dr.
