VIRGINIA BEACH - Mrs. Stephanie Keller Meixel, 83, the widow of Charles Meixel 
and a daughter of Henry and Mrs. Johanna Keller, died in her home at 5441 
Sunland Drive Sunday at 3:50 a.m.
A native of Baden Baden, Germany, she lived in the Tidewater area 37 years. She 
was a member of St. Matthew’s Catholic Church.
She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Pipes of Lemon Grove, Calif., 
Mrs. Emma Hubbard Warren of Virginia Beach, Mrs. Rose Blackstone of Cincinnati, 
Ohio, Mrs. Margaret Christe of Norfolk, and Mrs. Antoinette Leidel of Oxnard, 
Calif.; two sons, Carl W. Meixel of Norfolk and Walter J. Meixel of Virginia 
Beach; a step¬daughter, Mrs. Mae Meixel Carter of Norfolk; a stepson, Herman 
Meixel of Jacksonville, Fla.; 21 grandchildren; and 37 great-grandchildren.
The body will be taken from Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, to 
St. Matthew’s Catholic Church for a Requiem Mass Tuesday at 10 a.m. Burial will 
be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited in the funeral 
home tonight at 7:30.
The family will be at 5441 Sunland Drive, Virginia Beach.
