In loving remembrance of our dear wife and mother, Mrs. Janie Menton, who died 
January 2,1929

We stood beside your bedside,
And saw your soul depart;
But when we saw that you were dead,
It almost broke our hearts.

Those hands that toiled for us are 
folded
Your dear warm heart, stilled;
A place is vacant in our hearts
That never can be filled.

Dear hands that did so much for us,
When helplessly we lay;
God knows the worked continuously,
But they are gone today.
Gone but not forgotten.
