Norfolk - Mrs. Ruby Mercer (89), known as "Sister" of 2530 Grandy Ave. was called 
home to be with the Lord on April 2, 2013. She leaves to cherish her memories, two 
sons Norman (Arthur) Mercer and Robert Mercer; two daughters Ruby Sims and Hattie 
Cooper. 

A funeral will be held, 11 a.m., Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Metropolitan Funeral 
Service, 7246 Granby St. Norfolk, VA. Interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery, 
Norfolk, VA.
