Virginian Pilot December 2, 1970 

Miss Vivian Childs Mercer, 66, a daughter of Malachi and Mrs. Emma Ward Mercer, 
died n a hospital Monday.
She was a lifelong resident of Norfolk and a Methodist.
She is survived by a sister, Miss Alva W. Mercer of Norfolk.
The body was taken to Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home.
The family will be at the home of her sister, 127 W. 11th St.
