Mrs. Inez Harold Mercer, 68, of 805 E. Princess Anne road, died in a Norfolk
hospital Monday night about 11 o’clock after a brief illness.  She was the
daughter of the late Jerry and Annie Harold of Princess Anne county, but had
resided in Norfolk since her childhood.

Mrs. Mercer was a veteran seamstress, having worked for some of the leading
families in the city.

Funeral services will be held at Mount Zion Church of God Holiness on Goff
street Sunday, Nov. 16, at 2 p.m.

Mrs. Mercer is survived by one son, William Raymond Mercer Sr.;  a
daughter-in-law, Mrs. Elizabeth Allen Mercer;  two grandchildren, William
Raymond Mercer Jr. and Inez Celestine Mercer, several nieces, nephews, cousins
and other relatives.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Morning Glory Funeral Home in charge of
arrangements.
