The Norfolk Virginian Pilot Friday May 4, 1945
Mrs. Linda Mae Smith Meredith, aged 66 years, wife of Jaqueline Marshall 
Meredith, Sr., and daughter of the late John David and Mrs. Amelia Dusch 
Smith, died at 3:10 a.m. yesterday at a local hospital. Mrs. Meredith, a 
native and lifelong resident of Norfolk, resided at 1407 Westover Avenue. 
Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Jaqueline Marshall 
Meredith, Jr., of Virginia Beach; one daughter, Mrs. William McBride, of 
Charlottesville, and two granddaughters. Services will be held at the H.D. 
Oliver Funeral Apartments today at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Elmwood 
Cemetery.
