Virginian-Pilot January 15, 1947
Katherine Anne Messina, six-weeks-old daughter of John Joseph, and Mrs. Katherine 
Crowling Messina, of Glen Rock, Princess Anne County, died yesterday at 3:10 p.m. 
at a local hospital.
Besides her parents, she is survived by her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. 
Paul Varga, of St. Petersburg, Fla., and her maternal grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. 
George Crowling, of Princess Anne County.
Funeral services will be conducted at the chapel of the H. D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments, Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock, with the Rev. E. C. Kiefer, of St. 
Mary’s Catholic Church, officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary’s cemetery.
