Middleton, aged 64, widow of Capt. Benjamin F. Middleton, died at the residence, 913 East Twenty-sixth street, yesterday afternoon at 1:45 o'clock, after a long illness. She was the daughter of the late James and Mrs. Sarah Fowler and was a native of Kent County, Maryland. She had been a resident of Norfolk for 24 years. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Herbert W. Seay, Mrs. Harry Kraft, Mrs. Ora F. Marshall and Mrs. John Cofer, of Norfolk and Mrs George Faulkner, of Baltimore; five sons, Arthur Clifton, Benjamin F., Jr., Ralph Kay, Samuel Evelon and Jesse E. Middleton, all of Norfolk; two sisters, Mrs. James Jones, of White Stone and Mrs. Woodrow Walker, of Elkton, Md.; one brother, James T. Fowler, of Centerville, Md.; 22 grandchildren and three great- grandchildren. The body was removed to the funeral chapel of James V. Derry, 102 Colley avenue. Notice of funeral will appear later. ********************************************************** Mrs. Florence E. Middleton -- Funeral services for Mrs. Middleton, who died Sunday afternoon at her residence, 913 East Twenty-sixty street, will be conducted in the funeral chapel of James V. Derry, 1920 Colley avenue, this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. The Rev. George W. M. Taylor, pastor of the Zion Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
