Virginian-Pilot February 10, 1989
NORFOLK - Edith Marie Middleton, 77, of the 3500 block of Essex Circle, died 
Feb. 9,1989, in her home.
Mrs. Middleton, a native of Donaldsonville, La., was a member of Christ the King 
Catholic Church. She was also a member of the African Violet Society and the 
Rosary Society.
Survivors include her husband, William Middleton, and a sister, Emily Snedeker 
of Jacksonville, Fla.
The graveside service will be at 2 p.m. today in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. 
Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the 
Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders Association.
