Norfolk - Charlie Lee Midgett of 1431 Chapel street, a longshoreman, received a 
funeral service in Hale Funeral Chapel Saturday and was buried in Calvary 
Cemetery.

Mr. Midgett, a native of Hyde County, NC, was a son of the late Bill Midgett and 
Mrs. Lillian C. Midgett.  He died April 11 in a hospital after a long illness.

Surviving besides his widow, are five daughters, Mrs. Lillian Epps. Mrs. Vernal 
Poole, Mrs. Teresa Holley and Miss Delois Poole of Norfolk and Mrs. Dora Pair of 
Brooklyn;  a brother, Jim Midgett of Englehard, NC;  two sisters, Mrs. Christine 
Spencer and Mrs. Celia Spencer of Brooklyn.
