Norfolk Virginian Pilot Tuesday December 5, 1950
Mrs. Lydia Tatem Miles, 60, daughter of the late William Heywood and Mrs. 
Mary Drummond Tatem, died at a Norfolk hospital yesterday at 9:20 a.m.
A native of Norfolk where she had resided practically all of her life, Mrs. 
Miles resided at Tappahannock at the time of her death.
She is survived by one brother, Heywood B. Tatem, Sr., of Virginia Beach; 
and one sister, Mrs. Tatem Goodwin, of Tappahannock.
Funeral services will be conducted at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments 
tomorrow at 2 p.m. by the Rev. David C. George, rector of St. Bride's 
Episcopal Church. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
