Norfolk Journal and Guide, Jul 25,1970

Norfolk - Little Miss Janet Miles, 7, of 1400 Buckroe, who died recently in 
Kings Daughters Hospital, received last rites in St. Paul Disciple Church.  
The Rev. Eva Fentress officiated.

A native of Norfolk, VA, she was the daughter of Mrs. Claudie Miles.

She attended St. Paul Disciples Church and was a student at Roberts Park 
Elementary School.

Besides her mother, surviving are three sisters, Rosetta Miles, Renne Miles 
and Cynthia Miles and three brothers, Samuel Miles, Anthony Miles and Jeffery 
Miles, all of Norfolk.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with E. A. Hughes Funeral Home in charge.
