Virginian Pilot June 16, 1903

The funeral of George F.  Miles, son of Mr. Bennett P. Miles, who passed away at 
the family residence on Camp Avenue Saturday, aged 16 years, was held from the 
residence yesterday morning. The services were conducted by Rev. J.W. Stiff, 
pastor of LeKies Memorial Methodist Church, assisted by Rev. E.E. Dudley, of 
Central Baptist Church. The interment was in Elmwood Cemetery. Following were the 
pallbearers: Messrs. Edward Walker, Harry Howard, George Richardson, Edward 
Conklin, John Armstrong, Jr. and Harry White.
