A funeral service was held Sunday at St. Stephen’s Church of God in Christ for 
Mrs. Dorothy Miles, 45, of 1868 Greenleaf drive. She died Oct. 22 in a local 
hospital.

Elder W. A. Barnes officiated at the service. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery under 
direction of Morning Glory Funeral Home.

A native of Norfolk, Mrs. Miles is survived by her husband, Walter Miles; a 
daughter, Miss Brenda Miles of Norfolk; and two brothers, Clifton C. Butts of 
Portsmouth and Willie H. Butts of Boston.
