Ledger-Dispatch, November 22, 1939
Alexander Gordon Milhado, son of the late Alexander Gordon, and Mrs. Martha 
Minton Milhado, a native and former well-known resident of Norfolk, died 
Monday evening at Washington, D.C. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Hermann 
O. Stickney, and a brother, Aaron Milhado, both of Norfolk.

Funeral services were held privately at the grave in Cedar Grove Cemetery, 
here, this morning at 9 o'clock, with the Rev. E. Ruffin Jones, D.D., rector 
of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, officiating.
